Queries and Research

  

        We have a limited number of volunteer researchers in our membership. We will work on any query pertaining to the Medicine Hat and district and on a first come first served basis. Please allow 2-4 weeks for your request to be answered. Please ensure your name, address, and e-mail is enclosed on all queries. Local equerries are encouraged to visit our library and conduct their own research with the resources available.

        A minimum charge of $50.00 is required before starting a research request. This payment covers time for basic research at our library, and other available resources. Additional charges may be required for further research. Individuals will be contacted if additional research and payments are required. We do not guarantee we will be able to locate the information that you seek. Some ancestors can not be found.

Obituaries

        There is a fee of $10.00 per Obituary lookup or 3 for $20.00, payable at the time of  request.


        Fees are used to augment our resources and maintain our library/meeting room.

        h. Henderson Directories

        i. Various databases including, Ancestry, MyHeritage, Family Search, Newspapers.com,

             Newspaper Archives and Find A Grave
